The new Wujiang museum is a landmark building of Taihu new town. It is one of the single buildings of "Suzhou Bay cultural center" designed by French bauzan Barker design firm. The building area is about 26000 square meters (divided into one underground floor and six above ground floors). It has six exhibition halls, with an exhibition area of about 5700 square meters and a collection warehouse area of more than 2000 square meters. The functional area is mainly composed of exhibition area, storage area, public area (including audience service area, leisure area and interactive experience area), education and guidance area, administrative office area, safety monitoring center and fire control center.
